Formed Families Forward is hosting a family fun day for all adoptive and foster families next Saturday, April 29th! Keynote Speaker, Dr. Bruce Thyer, will give a presentation on "What Really Works and Doesn't Work for Tough Kids" and families will have their choice of breakout sessions including a Q&A with Dr. Thyer and a presentation on "Cruising Through Conflict: How Kinship and Other Formed Families Can Keep the Peace". There will also be a teen breakout session, "Poetry in Motion: The Rap Connection".

After a fun-filled sunny day on Sunday, it is safe to say the Barker tradition of the annual picnic being one of the highlights of the year for the Barker community continues strong. In fact, we were thrilled to see over 150 of you at the picnic!
