I found this article on AdoptUsKids.Org. I found it extremely relevant to many of our families who adopt older youth out of the foster care system. One of the questions I am frequently asked is in regards to birth parent contact but with the nature of technology this is a hard question to answer. Children have access to an enormous amount of information via the internet. How do we help our kids maintain safe boundaries, how do we promote the spirit of openness….this article helps to address some of those concerns.
