Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)
The Combined Federal Campaign is the workplace giving program of the United States’ Federal government. Each fall, Federal employees are invited to donate to a charity of their choice – and we hope that you will choose Barker! You can elect to have a specific monetary amount withdrawn from each paycheck or make a one-time donation. Donating through the CFC is a proven, effective and efficient way to support Barker. For more information, please visit http://www.opm.gov/combined-federal-campaign. Barker’s CFC designation # is 38308.
Employer Matching Gifts
Many companies and organizations have a “Matching Gift Program.” For every dollar you donate to Barker, the employer will also donate. This is an easy way to double or triple the strength of your contribution. Check with your HR department to find out more.
Planned giving is an easy, tax-smart way to leave a legacy to Barker. Please speak with your financial advisor to determine the best way to honor the role Barker has played in your life. Ways to incorporate a planned gift may include, for example:
- Designate The Barker Adoption Foundation as a beneficiary in your will, living trust, or other estate plan;
- Create a charitable remainder trust;
- Create your own family-named fund;
- Establish a charitable gift annuity with The Barker Adoption Foundation as the beneficiary.
