Barker's 2022 Teen Connections Event!
Sunday, November 13, from 11 AM to 3:00 PM 

An afternoon of storytelling and sharing as we explore the identity of an "adoptee."

We invite your middle and high school children (6th to 12th grade) to join us for our Annual Teen Connections Event, on Sunday, November 13, from 11 AM to 3:00 PM ET. Our adoption experts will provide a safe space for teens to explore adoption and identity-related questions, and share their stories and experiences with one another. Registration Fee: $95. Explore Themes of Adoption Identity

Through a mix of mediums, adoptees will begin to engage with their adoption identity and how/when to share their story authentically. Teens will have opportunities to work in small groups and individually to create and explore their narrative and how to express it (video, painting, written word, etc.) while also sharing a meal and connecting with their peers.
