Barker's First Summer Fun Kids Program for Rising 3rd to 7th Graders
Session 1: June 26 - June 30 | Session 2: August 14 - August 18
9:15 AM to 3:30 PM ET
Each week-long experience will focus on empowering your child's sense of self and resiliency, strengthening friendships and social
skills, managing big emotions, exploring one's adoption identity, and having fun!
Spots are limited, so sign your child up for one week or both weeks!

More About The Program
A summer adoption-and fun-focused week for your child to experience more of who they are and who they will become!
This new innovative summer program for rising 3rd to 7th graders will provide the opportunity for your child to connect with other adopted children and engage in fun outdoor and indoor activities, arts & crafts, and thoughtful adoption-focused exercises to continue building social skills, adoption identity, and confidence.
Activities will take place at Barker's Bethesda office and two local parks.

Registration Information
Who: Adopted Children entering 3rd to 7th grade during the 2023/24 school year
Where: Meet at Barker's Bethesda Office

Fee: $450 per week
Two Sessions Available- Sign up for one or both!

Insurance information
Insurance reimbursement may be available to you through Aetna and BCBS for the 1-hour group therapy portion per day. You must call your provider to see if your insurance covers daily group therapy. Please use the group therapy code 90853 when inquiring about reimbursement with your insurance. The whole day is not covered by insurance; only the one hour of group therapy each day may be covered.
