Event Description

This session, presented by Richard Weinfeld, a special education expert and advocate, will explore how parents of children with special needs and learning challenges can best advocate for their children to receive the services required for them to reach their full academic potential. Topics covered will include when to seek an evaluation, developing Individual Educational Plans, partnering with schools and advocating effectively.

Presenter: Richard Weinfeld, Executive Director of the Weinfeld Educational Group and author of several books, including The Special Needs Advocacy Resource Book: What You Can Do Now to Advocate for Your Exceptional Child’s Education, and Helping Boys Succeed In School.
