Every parent should feel confident in his/her ability to take good care of his/her child's hair.
Join us for this hands-on workshop!

You are invited to join other adoptive parents for a workshop that will teach you more about the techniques and products needed to care for African American/Black hair. This engaging and hands-on workshop will build awareness of African American/Black culture regarding hair care and the connection to self-esteem and identity, encourage dialogue about parental challenges and successes of meeting hair care needs, and teach basic skills - and provide hands-on practice - to provide for the hair care needs of an African American/Black child.
