Dear Adoption Community,

We are all extremely concerned about the spread of the COVID-19 virus, and your health and safety is our highest priority. Effective today, to help reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19, The Barker Adoption Foundation is modifying its schedule. Today, Monday, March 16, and tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17, our offices are closed as our staff adequately prepares for the transition to telework. Effective Wednesday, March 18, staff will be working and are available remotely. Our office is closed to the public. Please refrain from stopping by, as you will not have access to our office.

Fortunately, we will remain present to meet the needs of the community. Most, if not all, of our services, will be available online. Staff will reach out to individuals who have meetings already scheduled, and information about online resources, including training and workshops, support and discussion groups, search and reunion services, and individual and family counseling sessions, will be available via our website and on social media.

On behalf of all of our staff, thank you for being part of our community. Please stay safe and healthy during these unsettling times.

Sue Hollar, Executive Director & CEO
