Whether you are a pre-adoptive parent considering adoption or already parenting, we invite you to join our upcoming parent education training, What If My Child Comes Out? Embracing Inclusivity: A Guide to Supportive Parenting from 7pm-8:30pm ET. During this virtual workshop, adoption competent therapist Victoria Alves will provide information around the LGBTQ+ community, common challenges that this community faces, and ways for family members to support their loved ones. This training aims to equip you with the necessary tools to begin thinking about the obligations you have, as parents, to your adopted child.
